NECRO COP

There are two versions of this figure, the original and the prized variant version. This Spawn / Not Spawn is technically not a Hellspawn, he is meant to replicate the power of Hellspawn through the intervention by a group of French scientists.

Spawn Simony is written by Alex Nikolavitch in French and published in 2003. Unlike the Japanese manga version of Spawn, this is not a new Spawn but featured the characters from the main comics. The English translated version hits No. 1 in TPB sales in May 2004.

The artwork is by Aleksi Briclot and visitors can check out his site in aneyeoni.

Joe F. explained the in the message board that "the translucent blue Necro Cop is a legit chase figure, and one of the rarest action figures we've ever produced. This isn't something we normally do with our SPAWN lines, (produce super-rare chase versions of figures), though we do occasional throw in a chase here and there just for fun. With this particular figure, we received some translucent samples from our factories during production and thought they were kind of cool looking, so we decided to thrown a small amount of them out there into the real world. I don't know the exact numbers and it's policy for us not to give out production numbers to begin with, but as stated above, this is one of the rarest action figures we've ever produced."
