This is a different Raven Spawn, not to be confused with that of Al Simmons in his many alternate persona.
This is a bad raven spawn, not the half-bad raven spawn from Spawn the original series. This bad bad boy is Lord Klay von Gore, one of the Lord of Darkness who took the moniker Raven Spawn in The Adventures of Spawn, a webcomics that you can read both online and as a hard copy.
He never actually appeared in the two issues of The Adventures of Spawn, instead he is featured in two short stories that act as an addendum to the webcomics and known as secret files. You can visit them here: K7-Leetha and Raven Spawn.
And of course the reason he is mentioned in this blog is because he subsequently appeared as a collectible figure in Series 32.

Lord von Gore also guest-starred in the remade of the 1951 movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" in December 2008. The scene in Jason Benson (the necessarily irritating and pesky kid of blockbuster movies) is supposed to be about his father's razor but in the background, Raven Spawn stood out.
