MANGA SAMURAI SPAWN
There are two versions of this figure.
April 1998 Series 10 Original
Released under Series 10 in April 1998, Manga Samurai Spawn is a most colourful Spawn with blue, red and gold paintwork, this Manga Samurai Spawn is the guard of Kuroshio, protecting it against the Temple of Darkness who is seeking the Jewel of Kuroshio that would complete their rule of the Universe.
Manga Samurai Spawn has a 6-legged protrusion on his back.
Once removed, it can be joined to the shield as a robotic insect.
January 2004 Retail Exclusive Manga Spawn Robots
v.2 however is less colourful - it is predominantly yellow. It is part of the Store Exclusive's Manga Spawn Robots set released in January 2004.
Besides the original head of Manga Samurai Spawn (left pic), v.2 also has an alternate trojan figurehead (right pic).
