July 1995 Pressman Toys Licensed Exclusive: Spawn the Game
Produced under license by Pressman Toys. When pressed for a date of release, this second licensee of McFarlane's figures can only said sometime in 1995!
In this guide, Spawn the Game refers to the Spawn figure that is indexed as Spawn:the Game to credit him as an original and unique figure. However, references would also be made as regards to Commando Spawn, Pilot Spawn and Medieval Spawn which incidentally also appeared along with their regular-size brethrens in the index.
Spawn is part of the 2.5" grey-washed figures contained inside the boardgame seen above. Interestingly though, this Spawn does not have a M on his chest and save for the spikes, he is pretty unrecognisable as a Spawn figure.
Contained inside the instruction booklet for this boardgame is a 12-page short story written by Eldon Asp. The story is a replica of the Toy Comic that featured Spawn Alley.
There are 6 figures in this boardgame and 4 are Spawns. Beside Spawn: the Game, there is also:
Commando Spawn
and the test shot prototypes before it went into full scale production.
Pilot Spawn
And again the prototypes of Pilot Spawn
Medieval Spawn
