Oct 12th - As regards the image dated Sep 20th, "Hunter R" provides me with the information and a link to Trex's blog 创作日记. Trex also did the above Spawn sculpture which is fortuitous because it is one of those images that I kept in my database without a clue as to its origin.
Oct 6th - Received a comment from a certain Mr Simmons in McFarlane.com and he is really kind and generous with his comments, my appreciation.
Sep 29th - As regards the image dated Sep 27th, well thanks Josh, it is a Sackboy from Sony PS3. And it is digital, not a plushie toy....darn. Anyway, the January 2009 issue of Simply Knitting, a British magazine for knitting hobbyists did come out with a 3-page insert on how to knit yourself a sackboy plushie toy, so if you ever attempt to knit a sackboy SPAWN plushie toy, the basic instruction is here.
Sep 27th - An image of a cute Spawn that I downloaded and promptly forgot where I found it. Wanted to ask the owner if he/she makes extra copies of it. Anyone?
Sep 20th - An image that I kept for some time. I did a search again and found it in toy news international: darkage spawn by Trex, a Taiwanse sculptor and posted by Ricerider back in the early 2000s.
This is the painted final picture but it was meant to be a garage kit production. Always wonder what happen to this project.
And since today is Sep 20th, I would like to wish my Muslim friends (especially to Yanne Pribowo) Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Sep 4th - This been a long time coming. Richard (ONEYE and also Crusader Spawn in spawn message board) has kindly allowed me to use images of his Spawn customs in my blog quite a while back. Check out his collection in picasaweb and premium format. Just want to thank him in advance as I would be adding his works gradually when I update my blog. The above image shows his collection of predator masks, brilliant works all but one of them stands out above the rest ; )
Aug 28th - Good news for fans of Montoy, his Wings of Redemption Spawn v.2 is progressing well. Sculpting Spawn is a joyous part-time work for Mon so please be patient and if you want to join his customers' list, please write to montoy
Aug 22nd - First, Happy Birthday Sarah! Okay, Josh sent me images of Mandarin taken outdoor. The harsh and bright light actually accentuates the beautiful painting that he does. This guy is really good and if you are thinking of placing a commission with him, do understand that there is a waiting period - he is that popular.
Aug 21st - Josh completed the Mandarin! My #001 is in the foreground. More info later.
August 20th - Before I start on my quest for a "holy trinity" of Mighty Muggs Spawns, Andy ("spawn & wanda" in the message board) has already beat me to it, he has already in his collection the trio of spawns from Series 1: masked spawn, unmasked spawn and medieval spawn. His Medieval Spawn is also commissioned from James. Thanks for sharing the pic, Andy.
August 18th - Version 2 of Medieval Spawn by James Fuller coming to my collection soon. Isn't he lovely! Contact him for more information if you need a commission.
July 31st - Commissioned a Dunny from Josh and I was provided with an update today. This is still early days but guess which spawn this figure is based on?
July 29th - My first Mighty Muggs Spawn reaches me yesterday. Was over the moon and frankly, the picture does not do this custom justice. It's lovely and those spikes are sharp as nails :) This is version Spawn 5.0 that Bryan has customised thus far, more info, please contact him at B.A.L.D.
July 28th - The f+ Wings of Redemption Dunny Spawn is done! Wonderful wonderful stuff! You can speak to Josh if you want to learn more about his works. But asks questions selectively, he is concentrating on my Spawn next!

July 14th - After his very successful sold out Spawn Armaggeddon (see Spawn by Montoy under A SHADOW SPAWN COLLECTION in the menu section), Mon is coming out with a second interpretation of Wings of Redemption Spawn. The v2 is still very much a WIP and stands 7". Now, guys, his works are very much a collector's item, so don't wait and see, drop him a line at montoy and reserved your figure.

July 12th - More from the f+ Spawn Collected Edition! Josh has very kindly sent me a WIP image of his next figure - Wings of Redemption Dunny Spawn. The wing is not up yet but it is already looking good thus far. And I like the new look, face-wise; those hook end at the mask makes him look "fiercer", that's right a fierce dunny :) You need a commission? Contact Josh.
July 12th - Bryan said this custom of Mighty Muggs Spawn should be arriving on my doorsteps soon. Meanwhile, he took a picture of it. He is very fast, so fast that before you can said "can I have a WIP status please", he is already done! His modus operandi is 50% downpayment before he starts work and another 50% before shipping. July 4th - Trust me, this is one of the best and most creative custom of Dunny Spawn that you would ever see. The work on the cape itself is a testmament of Josh's professionalism. His works are not cheap but then the base figure (that of a Dunny) alone costs US$50. He is very much into Spawn so it is only natural that I would feature more of his works gradually, meanwhile if you are interested in his custom, do drop Josh a line at his email address.
