Sunday, besides the usual squash and books, decide to take a bunch of photographs of the Raven Spawn - the version 1. Still resizing them, there are just so little time.
Those are migoo toys that the Jay Chou and Wang Lee Hom are holding. The toys are mascot of China Mobile Communications Corp and used as part of their promotional activities.
When migoo toys became popular, "entrepreneurs" were not going to lag behind...soon, keychains, toys…etc started to appear...
Well, the latest is a series of toys to commemorate comic book heroes. The series include Spiderman, Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America and a female figure I am not able to translate from Chinese. Anyway, that is not the important point, the point is that the manufacturer includes Spawn into the mix! Waiting eagerly for its arrival!
by VISEone who specialised in "comic stripped" munny custom. Check out his fabulous site at patchtogether. And his twitter said Singapore Airline is his newest favourite airline, yeah, go Singapore Girls.
Published by Italian starcomics which specialised in translated comics. Spawn the Savage Dragon September 1994, probably a containment of the crossover storylines.
More images of Omega Spawn v1.5 added into the portfolio.
Saw this copy on eBay not that long ago - Psyco (deliberately misspelled?)Duck #4 published by Pocket Change Comics.
Oh gosh, Hunter R's interpretation of Daniil Simkin the Spawn!
The moment this programme guide was handed over to me, I was thinking what the rest in the spawn collectors' community are thinking: "that is spawn i43"!!! The rest of the world however know him as Daniil Simkin. His performance was mesmerising.
Customed by Trex - Paw is made by Coarse Toy and spawnised by Trex. Check out Trex's Creation here.
We welcome two new columns into our Spawndom - Spawn appearances in Comics in chronological order and Spawn appearances in the Silver Screen. Both are imported from spawncomics.blogspot. Check them out on the right of page.
Another member of Hellspawn Realisation growing family - All the Images of Omega Spawn v1.5 origin.
Time for a new custom from Hunter R! As we speak, images are being created in a new thread to be posted in the Hellspawn Realisation section.
Greetings from Spawndom to everyone celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, Happy ZhongQiu.
Received an email from the seller about this item. It was from the collection of her former hubby, a graphic artist in the entertainment industry. My condolence and rest assured, it is in a good home now!
Thanks to Frankie who is on his way back from Nanchang in China, my Raven Spawn Prototype Army is getting some new recruits! Welcome home and I would be at the airport to pick up the figures...and you of course.
I am quite a workaholic and thank goodness, I love my job, guess I am one of the lucky few. No surprise then that this blog is gradually taking up a backseat. Therefore I am pretty grateful to to Hunter R for helping me in picking up the slag.
Meanwhile over the weekend, I have added two more collectibles into my collection. I hope they reached this little red dot that I call home safe and sound:
A garage kit that I noticed on and off for quite some time and this would be one of those figures that I preferred unpainted.
I only noticed this figure when Hunter R brought it to my attention. He still surfs the spawn board regularly whereas I am practically a "once a month" visitor; he recalled a board member mentioning it. I looked out for it and am glad to be owning it, hope it crosses the pacific safely.
Hunter R just couldn't help it, given the chance he would go into a spawnization spree including this keychain figure from the 6-figure series of Funky Punky Pinky Pow! More Spawny Cat in Hunter R's post here.
Also check out the thread at Spawn Board and more pics here in this post.
